Calling all future filmmakers and storytellers! Come to MSP and make your own short puppet movies! Participants will design and hand make their own puppets and will also be able to write, direct and act in their own little puppet video. We’ll explore various mediums of puppetry including paper hand puppets, simple fabric stick puppets, marionettes made of felt and yarn, and shadow puppets, too. Not only is this a puppet-making workshop but also a way for kids to tell short stories using video either shot on their own phones or with a video camera set up for the workshop.
